Pros

Working from home is the only pro to being a Talentfoot employee.

Cons

Leadership consistently shows favoritism toward certain recruiters, handing them incoming business leaders/job orders. The Owner/President and her Chief of Staff is responsible for this unhealthy culture. If you want to work somewhere that recruiters are promoted without merit and provide little to no true leadership to their teams, this is the place for you. Their client service quality has gone downhill dramatically; many clients are dissatisfied, and when you bring it to leadership's attention, they do nothing. This firm doesn't provide true executive recruiting - they hire high volume recruiters, provide very little executive recruiting training and send them on their way.

Pros

Exceptional culture that is like a breath of fresh air in this industry! Talented people, competitive spirit but not cutthroat. Incredibly smart, creative, and involved CEO who cares about the team and invests back into the business. Great marketing team that generates leads and thought leadership for inbound, while hunting for your own business is still encouraged. I've never felt as supported and appreciated for my talent and ability while still being pushed to improve and up my game.

Cons

This isn't the place for people who need constant support, check-ins, or structure. This isn't a con for me, I thrive when I'm trusted to do my job and use my experience, but if you're coming from a big firm, it is an adjustment.

Pros

I have been at Talentfoot for over 3 years. In this company I am treated like a professional and trusted to do my job on a somewhat flexible schedule allowing me to take care of myself and my family while also having a career I can take pride in. The revenue goals are clear, paths to promotions are laid out transparently so there is no subjectivity in earning bonuses or promotions. Team members are supportive; it is not a cutthroat environment and colleagues support one another's wins. In terms of the work, the emphasis is on quality, providing high levels of service to clients, caring about candidates, etc. as opposed to cranking out some number of cold calls that don't translate to success necessarily. The company is small which I like, and most colleagues try to get to know one another despite being fully remote. Leadership is accessible and tries to motivate and reward us for our hard work frequently, making me feel valued.

Cons

Being fully remote could potentially be a negative for some, especially if you don't have a comfortable environment to work from your home or you thrive on in-person collaboration. I have had a very positive experience working from home, fortunately.
