We are thrilled to announce that starting in 2025, U.S. employees with six months of tenure will now receive 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave to support them during the life-changing journey of welcoming a new family member. Meet Daniel Cret, a skilled product developer in tesa's Automotive Group, specializing in innovative adhesive solutions. Since joining us in March 2024, Daniel has leveraged his extensive mechanical engineering background to bring fresh perspectives to our automotive solutions. His role centers on developing products that meet our customers' technical needs through meticulous analysis, benchmarking, and testing. Daniel was drawn to tesa for its brand-new facility in Sparta, MI and its unique setup, where production and product development teams are co-located, fostering seamless collaboration and rapid innovation. "The ability to discuss ideas or conduct production trials just down the hall is invaluable," Daniel shares. tesa empowers its team with creative autonomy, allowing them to transform lab concepts into full-scale production. "Seeing our prototypes scale up on the production floor is incredibly fulfilling," Daniel adds. Since joining tesa, Yerzhan has been at the forefront of advancing automotive adhesives, a sector rapidly transitioning from traditional engines to electric power. His role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities—from hands-on experimentation in the lab to collaborating with engineers, business developers, sales, and marketing team to scale up production. "It's exhilarating to work on products that make a tangible impact we can see every day," Yerzhan shares. His efforts in developing cutting-edge adhesive tapes for cell batteries support major automotive companies. "Seeing these cars on the road, knowing they rely on innovations I helped create, is an incredible feeling," he adds. We asked Yerzhan what advice he has for potential candidates, he emphasizes the importance of willingness to learn and collaborate. At tesa, we're proud to nurture growth through our comprehensive apprenticeship program. We recently caught up with Josh Pohl, one of our mechatronics apprentices, for a glimpse into his journey. A Day in the Life: Each day begins at 7 AM, filled with hands-on learning, from assisting on the production line to conducting quality tests in the lab, offering Josh diverse opportunities to grow. What Drew You to the Program? "The opportunity for free education drew me in. I wanted to avoid student loans, and this program perfectly fit my goals." Skills Gained: "tesa has taught me valuable skills like conducting quality tests on products, operating machinery, and understanding the importance of professionalism and respect in the workplace.” Personal Growth: "I've matured and learned the value of respecting others and offering everyone a chance to succeed."
