Flexibility in teams but poor management and low pay.
Pros
- Flexibility to move teams. There is always an option to switch your team that arises from the high employee turnover rate. - Smart workmates. Most of the times, people know what they are doing.
Cons
- Manager might have a huge ego. They might fail to themselves understand the scope of the project at times. Contradicting or saying no to them ironically means you're not being 'Humble' enough (a glovo value). In a nutshell, they have all the power in the world so you are basically under their thumb. - The workload to pay is extremely rough. A lot of tech companies (what Glovo likes to call itself) offer way better pay for amount of work you're expected to do. If you're not taking huge amounts of workloads and not doing them fast then you're not 'Gas' (another Glovo value - if you fail 2/6 values you'll be put under evalutation of be fired). - Majority of your work (and hence your OKRs) requires interdependence on other teams. But the incentive for others to help you is low because it is not part of their OKRs and because they are already gassing out. - Low job security. Firings are common.
