Imagine your salary gets slashed to $1,500 a week. Can you live off that?

Can anyone from PwC tell me the salary range for a manager position in tech consulting? Would potentially be coming in as an experienced hire with 8 yrs of consulting experience.

I got laid off today, but didn't get offered severance. Apparently, anyone with the company for less than a year isn't entitled to a severance package. Is this even legal?
